This was a disappointing week in electronic music. I realized there's so much absolute garbage commercial house music that all sounds the same and it really saddens me. I picked four awesome tracks that have some great soul to them, unlike the hundreds of songs I sift through every week making Climb To Clouds.

First track is by one of my favorite producers, Dirty South, with a remix by upcoming Michael Brun. I usually enjoy DS tracks, and this one is no different, although some of his s0ngs have gotten really boring lately. Second track is an instrumental banger from Maison&Dragen called WOW, I'm glad they have somewhat stuck to their track roots and not sold out into progressive house. Third is a beautiful vocal from Jess Mogran called Reasons later, which mixes into a gorgeous instrumental by Pulstate called All Else Fails. I really loved the breakdown on this track, especially the piano melody. It really sums up the reason why I love trance so much, and will always continue to spread good music! This week if probably my most experimental podcast yet. I dabbled with a few genres, Trance, Progressive/Electro and a little Tech house. I actually went with two Tiesto tracks this week. The first one I was already buying anyway, so I snuck it in as the opening track. Second comes an underground track I found from Vallejos, I really liked the techno feel to it. Third is another sick electro trance track from Chris Schweiser! I love his sampling of RELEASE THE KRAKEN coupled with an epic synth breakdown in the middle of the track. Next was the other Tiesto track I really liked, once in a while he actually comes out with a good track but more of them are horrid progressive house tracks that all sound the same. Finally we "Welcome Summer" with a classic Climb To Clouds style trance track. Enjoy!

This is a really chillout trance mix this week. Armin Van Buurens new album came out, so I picked his track with Emma Hewitt as my favorite for the week. The opening track starts halfway through, the first few minutes is an AWESOME intro by Soha/Adam K, highly suggest checking out the entire song. It's SO chill. Third is a standard Craig Connelly remix of last years "Bang The Drum" banger, keeping the trance energy alive. Finally, The last track was produced by Ronski Speed and I really liked the breakdown so I kept it in. I narrowed down a bunch of tracks and unfortunately was only able to find 4 good ones, besides Armin's "Intense" album. I'll have another single off of his album next week for you, enjoy!

I found some sweet remixes of previous Climb To Clouds tracks this week! We start out with a new banger by Sander Van Doorn, and move into one of my favorite instrumentals of the year. Omnia's "The Light" was remixed with an epic twist by 4 Strings. Third is the new Andy Tau track Alliance which flows nicely into the new Chris Jones track. Aly and Fila head up the production with a really nice breakdown and overall good vibe. The final track is a remix of Armin's new single by one of my favorites Giuseppe Ottaviani. He bumps up the tempo and gives a great uplifting emotional feel to the track Enjoy!

Back to my trance roots for this one! This is a pure trance mix, my favorite tracks of the week. They're all vocal with the exception of the new VillaNaranjos song which is last. I also included yet ANOTHER remix of the classic track "Southern Sun" because it was a really deep, emotional track and thought you'd enjoy it. Cold Blue comes out with some really epic productions, and this remake does not disappoint.

Tuesday night are always super long and I barely get any sleep, but it's worth it because I get to share the music that I love.

Early night tonight, yay! We're gonna start with this new Daft Punk song that I've had on repeat for two days straight. I was able to get ahold of this extended bootleg because all the versions you see online are only about a minute long. I can't wait to pick up the album when it releases on May 23, this song is SO FUNKY and amazing and I haven't felt such a love for a song so quickly in a really long time. It's really much slower than most of the stuff I play, so we speed up into another funky house track called Rock Bend. Third is a quick mix into my standard trance, a huge BOOM of a track by MarLo which came out last week. I was going to use it last week, but again it didn't fit last week's vibe. Next is a track by Tiff Lacey and the only other voctal in the mix, pretty standard trance tune. Two of my favorite "pure trance" artists Chris Lawrence and John 00 Fleming teamed up for this next track with a sweet remix by upcoming producer Reaky.

I give you a quick taste of it and it's on to the controversial track of the week. It's two years old, "Rebound" by Arty and Matt Zo. You see, Will I Ams new album comes out this week (or something) and he released a preview of one of his new trashy club songs called Let's Go ft Chris Brown (Google it). It directly rips off the breakdown and main melody to Rebound, like not even partially, like a direct cut&paste. Then it proceeds to go into absolute garbage vocals by Willy and Chrissy. There was a HUGE backlash against this song in the trance community yesterday and it's all over the forums and everything today. Hopefully Ajunabeats (record label) will join with Arty and Matt Zo to sue the shit out of the former Black Eyed Peas star who shouldn't have quit his day job. I have now lost all respect for him over this blatant thievery and will refuse to play his non-BEP productions from this day forward. So, I included the original track because it's amazing and was on the trance charts for almost a year and a half after it got released. EPIC TRACK, even though it's from 2011 I thought it was fitting considering everything that went down this week.

This one ran a little long tonight, but it's okay. I swear I can't finish these during the day, they literally have to get done at 4am or I won't be 100% content with the mixing for some reason. First track is Armin's new smash hit This Is What It Feels Like, reminds me a little bit of This Light Between Us. The video is really badass, and I'm just happy he finally released this track. Even though I think Waiting For The Night is better, it's still a great soulful production by the trance king himself. Nervo just released a brand new track today called Hold On, and I was able to stick it in before Maor Levi's new remix of Lights with a sick melody during the breakdown. The mix slows down from here into an epic track from Eric Prydz. I wanted to use this track last week when it actually got released but it wasn't flowing with episode 064's vibe so I had to cut it at first. It has since jumped to number 1 on the beatport 100 and is a typical epic journey of an instrumental (much like Vega). The final track flowed really well from Prydz, it's called Higher and reminds me of driving my car with the top down in the middle of the night, I'll be sure to rock out to this podcast tomorrow because it's going to be gorgeous out. By the way, I just got the worst case of allergies today and sneezed twice while mixing these tracks, thought you'd like to know.

This week's mix starts out with Alesso's newest compilation with OneRepublic, I started the track halfway through because it's more of a progressive house anthem than anything. The rest of the tracks are all underground trance that came out this week, one instrumental I REALLY LOVED called S.A.A. and three chillout vocal tracks. I had a lot of fun with this one, even though I was hungry and tired. "Blessed" is a future big room smash from superstar EDX, great progressive house track with a long intro/outro that I cut out. Omnia strikes again with a really sweet chill instrumental track to complement their excellent productions over the last year. Third is a remix of Salt, a great vocal trance track with a smooth hook and chorus remixed by Mike Danis. Dream State is a brand new track with vocals by Sarah Russell which give the mix a great energetic vibe to lead into the new instrumental by Sean Tyas called Hydro. This final track is my favorite style of high-energy trance with psytrance undertones. Enjoy!

It really is quite time consuming, but I love finding new music and sharing it with people.

This one was super clean, but since I made it at 4am this morning I had to keep my volume levels down and I was really fighting to keep the tracks at the same volume. I remastered the mix and tried to even out everything as best as I can, but the entire thing was done at low volume. I got really disappointed with Armin Van Buuren's selling out to electro house this weekend at Ultra Music Festival, along with other big names in trance selling out to the house scene. I picked some great tunes I thought would bring back the trance roots that are basically nonexistent in these guy's sets nowadays. The first is a house track with Sultan/NedShepard and Fedde Le Grande. It's a HUGE track with a really groovy breakdown. The next track is one of the first vocalists I ever mixed, in my original Summer Mix version 1 from when I first started DJing. This is her new track, torches, and it's got a great hook. The Moonlight Shines and Eternal Love are  more trancey tracks with a good chillout vibe and some excellent synthwork, and finally another remix of Wait Forever which I featured a few months ago. This one is a hands-up style high energy mix by Daniel Kandi. When I was test-listening this mix I couldn't really pick out any of the transitions at all, so it just sounds like one big track for the most part, enjoy!
